Santa Clarita Valley’s Dancing with Our Stars (SCV DWOS) began in 2009, and has since raised $1,500,000 for local nonprofit organizations.

SCV DWOS is a friendly dance competition that gathers 20 nonprofits together to raise money and awareness for their causes. Each organization choses a local celebrity to represent them as their dancer. Then, it's up to them and their dancer to raise as much money as possible, by "proxy votes" (a voting platform that is given out the night of the event) and fundraisers. Local celebrities are paired with professional dancers, and each team choreographs a dance for the night of the event. Judges will choose a best male and female celebrity dancer, each awarded $1,000 for their nonprofit. Additionally, a first, second and third place winner are selected, based on funds raised. Those winners will receive additional funds for their nonprofits at the event. See you there!
