Santa Clarita's 17th Annual Military Honor Christmas Tree & Menorah Lighting

A Red, White & Blue Christmas Celebration! Sat. Dec, 3, 2022, 5pm. Veterans Historical Plaza, 24275 Walnut St, Newhall, CA 91321. Heartwarming , fun & free, the community is invited to the annual lighting of the Military Honor Christmas Tree & Menorah. A special ceremony to honor hometown service members and veterans, past and present, with many of their photos adorning the tree. Service members on Blue Stars, Veterans on White Stars, and Gold Stars for our fallen,  post 9/11. Be sure to dress warm. Hot cocoa, coffee and holiday treats will be provided, as we gather to enjoy Christmas songs and carols, hear a few words, pray for our military, and light the Military Honor Christmas Tree and Menorah. Special Guest Speaker 98 yr old veteran of WWII, Barney P. Leone, with the battle worn flag from his ship at Iwo Jima. The annual event is hosted by local non-profit Prayer Angels for the Military, assisted by local veterans organizations, and SCV Young Marines. Supported by the City of Santa Clarita.
