"Pulling It Together" Art Reception

Come out to The MAIN for a FREE art reception featuring live music, art and light refreshments. Four artists are included in this exhibition. You can read something about each below.

Jennifer Korsen
LA native, constant creator, queen of hearts. Jennifer Korsen has been gracing galleries and walls with her artwork since 2009. Past clients include the City of LA, City of Santa Clarita, Angel City Brewery, Art Share LA, Perrier, Red Bull, Whole Foods, Thoms and more. Korsen is the creator of an interactive project aimed at strengthening connections through art and exploring the universality of the image of a heart.

Janine Cooper Ayres
Janine Cooper Ayres is an artist, singer/songwriter, author, actress and film-maker. Over the years she has sold over 300 paintings and has released 11 CDs of music that she composed herself. She's a member of the Screen Actors Guild and recently played the role of a deranged mother in a short film called 'The Other Me' soon to be released. Janine lives in Newhall with her rescue cat, Mr. Kitt.

Sarah Hage
Sarah Hage lives and works in Los Angeles, spending as much time outside as possible working with her hands to create gardens, papier-mache sculptures and paintings. She also teaches an online art inspiration class for other artists.

Iris Peretz
Iris is a muralist, sculptor and designer. Iris celebrates the integration of street art, graffiti, fine art, advertising, iconography and cultural criticism in her artwork. Iris incorporates her beloved theme of peace, love, kindness, togetherness, and inclusion into her public art, murals, sculptures, paintings, classes and group shows, while offering the viewer a safe space to be content. Her works have appeared on public and private walls around Los Angeles and Florida, on clothing brands, at local shelters, bridge housing communities, festivals, pop-ups, private parties, in art galleries and on the side of freeways. Iris is driven by her passion for our shared experience as a global, local and familial community.
