Then join the City of Santa Clarita's New Heights free panel discussion “Tiktok for Artists” to discover what the most popular social media platform is all about and how to make it work for you.
Our panelists include Lian Parsons-Thomason and Harrison Carrillo.
Lian is a Boston-based writer and journalist who is constantly on the hunt for compelling stories and creative ways to tell them. She recently wrote “Inside TikTok’s hypnotic, colorful, and lucrative art world” for expmag.com. Experience Magazine is published by Northeastern University. Lian is currently an Editorial Production Assistant at Harvard University and a Contributing Writer for iPondr and The Financial Diet.
Harrison Carrillo is a Cal Poly SLO college student and pottery artist who has acquired over 1.8 million followers on TikTok over the last 6 months through his unique, creative style of pottery and video ideas. His combined passion for social media and pottery has earned him success on the app, becoming an official TikTok Content Partner, being featured on Buzzfeed, collaborating with international artists, and getting followed by Seth Rogen (his favorite achievement).
