“Little Ones Nature Hour” at Vasquez Rocks Interpretive Center provides an opportunity for parents with children 0-3 years old to grow their appreciation and curiosity for the natural world. This program promotes creativity and exploration, while encouraging mindfulness and connection. Activities vary and include group games, nature hikes, STEM, animal meet and greets, dramatic play, songs, and story time. Activities are designed to promote bonding, making new friends, building self-confidence, and a fun outlet for parents, guardians and caregivers. Participants should bring a towel or blanket to sit on, snack(s), and water bottle for filling that is labeled with the child’s name. A favorite stuffed animal can also join the fun! 

Attend one class or many! Minimum class size is 4, Maximum class size is 14. A parent, guardian, or caregiver is required. This program occurs on Wednesday mornings at the Vasquez Rocks Interpretive Center from 10:30 a.m. for about 60 minutes. Program is indoors or outdoors, weather pending.
