“In My Room” Art Reception

“In My Room” showcases work created mostly during the pandemic years. The pieces were made using experimentation with new mediums and means of creating, as changes in the artist’s life led to changes in the art making process. During this time, lack of studio space and in-person classes led to the work being created within the artists room, often shared with fellow roommates and friends. The art focuses on the disturbances in the artist’s life as she graduated and moved between cities, as well as disturbances within the natural world that surrounds her.
