Helen Hunt Jackson Returns to Rancho Camulos Museum

Experience a touch of living history as the Rancho Camulos Museum recreates author Helen Hunt Jackson’s 1882 visit to Rancho Camulos, a trip that would later inspire the author to pen her bestselling novel, "Ramona." Costumed docents will portray Ms. Jackson and the members of the Del Valle family as they welcome her to their 1853 adobe.

By popular demand, this year’s annual re-enactment has been expanded to two performances and a meet and greet reception with Helen Hunt Jackson and the Del Valle family will follow each one. The suggest donation for the re-enactment is $10 and tickets can be purchased on line (recommended) at ranchocamulos.org, or at the gate.

Saturday, January 26 at 1:00pm to 4:00pm
