The MAIN is the home for music, comedy, film, theatre, visual art, classes and workshops, meetings and serves as the welcome center for visitors to Old Town Newhall. The venue has been around for 20 years but, as of February 2017 the City of Santa Clarita took over operation and management of the space. The theater has been transformed into a multi-use arts center including a monthly rotating gallery, and free programs every Thursday night. The venue is also available for private rentals, filming and productions.

Vivid colors and intricate drawings that tell a story of a post-human world. The artist was there to discuss her work with gallery visitors. The street fair, music and beverage stands made for a festive, fun event.

Two moving films made by talented COC students using the technique of "direct animation" illustrated the story of Holocaust survivors...poignant and powerful. I'm a Cal Arts Experimental Animation alumni and am Impressed to see this caliber of work coming from COC. Looking forward to seeing the 3rd film currently in post-production. Thank you for hosting this ARTree.
